Description

This is a group of three headstones located in the churchyard about 4 meters south of the south choir chapel at the Church of All Saints. These headstones date from the 18th century and are made of ham stone, which is approximately 150 millimeters thick. They feature chamfered edges at the rear and are panelled with ornamental borders. The tops of the headstones have segmented arched pediments that contain angel heads, along with added side scrolls. The stone closest to the church is a double stone. While the inscriptions are not entirely clear, one commemorates Joseph Bernard, who died in 1791, and another dates to 1794. These headstones are included as they are likely the best examples among the many in the churchyard.
