Description
No 18 High Street is a mid to late 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed of brick with stucco dressings. The building features a moulded cornice and a brick balustrated parapet. The corners are accentuated with quoins. On the second storey, there are two windows with shouldered architrave surrounds, and the sashes do not have glazing bars. The first floor has a triple light window, with the centre light projecting forward to a point. The shop-front, which likely dates from the same period, includes glazing bars and a doorway located to the left. This building is part of a group with Nos 2 to 14 on the same street.
