Description

The George Hotel is a three-storey building with a stucco front, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features rusticated quoins and window voussoirs, with five sash windows that include glazing bars. The ground floor has later additions, and rusticated quoins frame the entrance, which consists of double doors set in an archway to the right. The hotel is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 14 on the same street.
