Description
Nos 10 and 11 on Fore Street is a building dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features a hipped slate roof and a central chimney stack, and it stands three storeys tall. The left side is finished in stucco while the right side is made of red brick, with a stringcourse separating the two materials. There are six windows in total, three on each floor. The first floor has round-headed openings with an impost stringcourse; No 10 has blocked heads while No 11 features traceried heads. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and there are modern shop fronts at the ground level. This building is part of an important group that includes No 1A Billet Street, No 66 The County Hotel, the Brendon Bar, and No 8 East Street, along with other listed buildings in Cheapside, Fore Street, and the Parade.
