38 High Street is an early 19th-century building featuring a three-storey stucco front and a band above the first floor. The roof is not visible. The façade has three windows with architrave surrounds, although two of these are blocked on the upper floor. The windows are sashes without glazing bars. The ground floor has modern shop fronts.
