Description
This barn, located 50 meters north of Key Farm House, is likely from the 18th century. It features stone rubble gables and piers with weatherboarded infill panels, topped with clay tiles and Welsh slates above stone slate base courses between coped gables. The barn has seven bays and two pairs of doors on the north side. Inside, it has double collar trusses, mostly from the 20th century, with double purlins and mostly old rafters. There is a slightly lower two-bay annexe to the east. The construction is quite unusual and resembles the skin drying attics of the Goldcroft Glove Works in Yeovil.
