Description

The Laurels is a detached cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from Cary stone that has been cut and squared, topped with a plain clay tile roof featuring stepped coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor is fitted with sash windows that have 16 panes, with sash boxes that are nearly flush and are set under voussoired flat arches. In the second bay on the ground floor, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door that is sheltered by a timber lean-to hood. At the rear, there is an outshut. The interior has not been seen.
