Description

This is a chest tomb from the 17th century located about 3 metres south of the chancel of the former Church of St Giles. It is made of Ham stone, with its base buried. The tomb features plain sides and flanks, but there are traces of an armorial carving on the east end. The top is a heavy flat surface with chamfered coving. There is no visible inscription above ground.
