Description

This is a chest tomb from the 17th century located about 2 metres south-east of the south transept of the Church of St Peter and St Paul. It is made of Ham stone, with the base and half of the sides buried. The tomb features plain sides and flanks, and has a cyma recta coving on its flat top. There is an inscription set in an incised frame, but it is too worn to be readable.
