Description

Morningside is a house in a row, built in the early 19th century. It features fine red brick in Flemish bond and has a plain clay tile roof with coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. It has moulded timber eaves and 16-pane sash windows in the outer bays, which are set in rubbed brick flat-arched openings. The second upper bay has a pointed arched sash window with 'Y'-traceried glazing. Below this, there is a matching pointed arched opening that contains a 20th-century panelled door topped with a decorative fanlight. The interior has not been seen.
