Description
Belgae House is an early 19th-century house located at the end of a row. It is constructed of finely jointed red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain clay tile roof with coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and three bays. The sash windows consist of 16 panes in plain openings, with gauged brick flat arches above the outer bays. The upper bay has two semi-circular arched openings with radially glazed sash windows. Below this, there is a 20th-century shaped door with toplights set in a semi-circular arched opening. On the north gable, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension made of local lias stone, topped with a clay pantiled roof and featuring 9-pane sash windows. The interior has not been seen.
