Description
The churchyard cross, located about 15 metres north-northwest of the north porch of the Church of St Mary, dates back to the 14th century. It was altered in the mid-19th century and moved to its current location in the mid-20th century. The cross is made of red sandstone and Ham stone, featuring a broached socket and an octagonal shaft. The upper portion has been renewed and is topped with a mid-19th century Maltese Cross. It is incorrectly shown on the Ordnance Survey map as being south of the south porch of the Church of St Mary.
