Description
This is a pair of gate piers located at the entrance to the Bridgwater docks, approximately 50 meters north-west of Wares Warehouse. They were built around 1840 and are made of squared soft limestone. The piers feature moulded cornices that support flat freestone caps and have a square section. Each pier stands approximately 2 meters high. They are included for their group value.
