Description

This is a pair of gate piers dating from the 18th century, located about 85 metres northeast of Hamswell House. They are constructed from limestone freestone and each pier is square in shape, approximately 1.5 metres high. The piers stand on a moulded base and feature three raised panels on both the front and rear sides. Each pier has a flat top with a moulded edge.
