Description

The Brown Chest Tomb, located 12 metres south of the porch to the Church of Saint Mary, is a 17th-century chest tomb made of Ham stone. It has a rectangular plan with the base buried, featuring plain sides and ends. The tomb is topped with a heavy flat top that has cyma recta coving. It commemorates Henery Sic Brown, who died in 1675.
