Description
Curdon Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1826, built for Sir John Trevelyan of Nettlecombe. It is constructed from red sandstone random rubble and features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and a soffit board. The building has a double pile plan and stands two storeys high with three bays. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, with the central window featuring an arched head. The ground floor has 16-pane sash windows and a central 20th-century door set in an arched opening, which retains the remains of panelled reveals. The left return of the building has a two-bay section with a plaque inscribed "IT 1826."
