Description

Brendon Bar is a building likely dating from the 18th century, now serving as an extension to the County Hotel, located in the alley behind Cheapside. The exterior features a stucco front that rises two storeys plus attics, topped with an old tile roof. It has three sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes a double bar front with a recessed central entrance. Brendon Bar, along with No 1A Billet Street, No 66 The County Hotel, and No 8 East Street, forms an important group with other listed buildings in Cheapside, Fore Street, and the Parade.
