Description
No. 3 Fore Street is a building that possibly dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is a low, two-storey structure with an attic and features a gabled front. The exterior is colourwashed, and it has an old tiled roof with bargeboards. On the first floor, there is a three-light window that is partly obscured by a modern shop fascia. The window has a wooden frame with segmental heads for the lights, which are divided by colonnettes. This building is included for its group value, as it forms an important group with No. 1A Billet Street, No. 66 The County Hotel, the Brendon Bar, and No. 8 East Street, along with other listed buildings in Cheapside, Fore Street, and the Parade.
