Description
Brook Cottage is a semi-detached cottage dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble made of Ham stone, with ashlar dressings, and features a roof covered with concrete tiles that has a stepped coped east gable and an abutment to the west. The cottage is two storeys tall and has two bays. It has plain, slightly-chamfered mullioned windows with three lights, which have horizontal-bar casements inserted. Between the bays, there is a boarded door set in a deep plain recess, topped with a flat stone hood supported by brackets. There is a lean-to garage building on the east gable. The interior has not been seen. Brook Cottage is attached on the west side to Brookside Cottage.
