Description

Lilac Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century that was restored in 1978. It features painted render over rubblestone and has a hipped thatched roof with a rebuilt limestone stack on the right side. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range. The windows are from the 20th century, with those on the first floor to the right set in half dormers. The left range is set back and has steps leading up to a 20th-century door beneath a thatched porch. The interior has been altered, but it was noted that it has undergone changes. The cottage is included for its group value.
