Description
The Haven, Southways, and Market House Cottage is a row of three cottages, likely built in the early 18th century, with alterations and changes to the windows made around 1840. The cottages feature painted render over cob on a rubblestone base, topped with a continuous steeply-pitched pantile roof and brick stacks at the party walls. The buildings have one- and two-unit plans, standing two stories tall with a total of four windows across the front. The ground floor has early 19th-century eight-over-eight pane sash windows, while the first floor includes two-light half dormers with small panes. The central cottage has a two-window range, flanked by cottages with one-window ranges. The Haven, on the right, has a 19th-century plank stable door, while the other cottages have 20th-century doors. The interiors have not been inspected.
