Description

This building is a range of stables and a coach house, dating from the 17th to 18th century, located about 10 meters behind Maunsel House. The structure is mainly constructed of rubble, with some areas covered in roughcast, and features double Roman and pantile roofs. It has an L-shaped roof that consists of two sections at different heights.

The ground floor includes five two-light wooden mullioned and transomed windows with leaded lights, while the other openings have two-light casements, with some windows blocked or featuring a hay-loft door. There are five door openings with plank doors. On the left side, there is a broad carriage entrance fitted with 20th-century corrugated metal doors. Above this entrance, there is a clock set in a circular moulded stone surround, displaying Roman numerals. This building is included in the listing primarily for its group value with Maunsel House.
