Description

This is an unidentified headstone located in the churchyard about 9 meters south of the old south transept of the Church of All Saints. It dates from the early 17th century and is made of Ham stone, measuring 150 mm thick with chamfered back edges. The headstone features two oval panels and a circular panel above, which includes an angel-head and the words "MEMENTO MORI." The top of the headstone is scrolled and it commemorates John H--, who died in 1711.
