Description
Skinners Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse likely built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from Ham stone ashlar and features a plain tiled roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks at each end. The building is two stories high and has three bays. The windows are timber casements with toplights set in plain openings. The front door, which dates from the late 20th century, is framed by an architraved surround and topped with a flat stone hood supported by shaped corbel brackets. There is an eaves course along the roofline. On the rear wall, which is partly hidden by a lean-to, there is a semi-circular headed sash window with double "Y" tracery. The interior has not been seen. This farmhouse is primarily noted for its group value, as it was formerly connected to No. 4 Skinners Hill.
