Description

ST52NE WEST CAMEL CP DOWNHEAD

2/129 East boundary wall, Glebe Farm House

-

GV II

Boundary wall. Early C19. Possibly Keinton stone rather than local. Large stone slabs set upright with butt unmortared joints - an infrequent and good survival of a "stone plank wall" 55 metres long, unrestored. (Clifton Taylor, The Pattern of English Building, 1972).
