ST13SE COTHELSTONE CP

3/92 St Agnes' Well, about 250 metres North-east of Cothelstone Manor Gateway II*

Well house. Medieval, restored old C19. Coursed red sandstone masonry with corbel roof, partially overgrown, about 1.6 metres high. Square in plan, round headed opening on South-west front with mid C19 wooden door, about 500 mm high, decorative hinges. Reputedly a healing well.
