Description

The Quay is a structure located in Minehead, built in 1610 with later additions. It is constructed of rubblestone and features stone-coped parapets. The building has a curved plan that projects toward the east. It was originally built by George Luttrell, Lord of the Manor of Minehead, at a cost of £5,000 to provide shelter for 240 ships.
