Description
Higher Farm House is a farmhouse from the 19th century, though it may include some earlier elements. It is constructed from local stone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and five bays, featuring 3-light mullioned windows with labels and cast iron casements that have diamond panes. Between the second and third bays, there is a 4-centre arched doorway with a 'Y' traceried fanlight and a studded boarded door. To the west of the fifth bay, there is a plain door with steps. The end gables are rendered, and the west gable includes a circular window with a semi-circular label and a radial glazed cast iron casement. The interior has not been seen.
