Description
This lamp post, located on the north-west boundary of No 1 (Brookside), was built between 1901 and 1904 by the art-metal firm of Singers. It features a cast-iron standard with a crook for the lamp, adorned with art-nouveau ornamentation. The lamp post has been adapted for town lighting and is an early provincial example of electrification.
