Description

No 2 Fromefield is a late 18th-century building constructed of rubble with freestone features, topped by a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall with an end basement and features three windows that have sashes set in plain architraves with glazing bars. The building has a wide portico supported by Ionic columns, which features a flat entablature. There is a segmental recess, which is panelled, for the entrance. Inside, there is a central hall that leads to the stairs, which have a segmental arch and a curved return for the bottom of the handrail. At the rear, there is an integral coach house in a lean-to structure with a segmental archway.
