Description

No 30 Fromefield is a late 18th century building, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a slate roof with coped verges on moulded footstones. The building has two storeys and four windows, which are plain sashes set in plain surrounds. The entrance includes a six-panelled door topped by an arched traceried fanlight within a rectangular overlight, and there is a porch supported by slender panelled square piers. On either side of the porch, there are flattened quadrant walls with an archway. Inside, the hall boasts an enriched cornice, and the staircase features a reeded handrail.
