Description

Spring Grove is a late 18th-century house with an ashlar front. It has a cornice with an astragal bead below and a blocking course. A string course runs at first-floor level, with chamfered quoins and rusticated walling to the ground floor. The house is three storeys high and has three windows, featuring glazing bar sashes set within reveals. The first-floor windows are set in shallow semi-circular headed recesses. A panelled front door has a wreathed and radiating fanlight. The door is set within a doorcase featuring a pedimented entablature supported by engaged Tuscan columns. The house displays a finely proportioned, symmetrical frontage.
