Description

Tauntfield is a two-storey building, likely dating from the early 19th century, located at the end of a drive from South Road. It is constructed of white brick with gable ends facing west, one of which features an inserted quatrefoil. The south front has a slate roof and an eaves cornice. A stone porch is situated at the gable end, featuring Tuscan half-columns that flank an elliptical arched entrance with a fanlight above. The upper floor has two windows with stone voussoir lintels, which are sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor consists of bays with three lights each, which do not have glazing bars.
