Description

No. 24 South Road is an early to mid 19th century building, possibly older in origin. It features a gabled range that runs parallel to the street and has two storeys. The exterior is roughcast with a pantile roof and plain bargeboards. A weathervane is located on the left gable end, and there is a brick stack at the front eaves on the left side. The building has three windows, which are two-light wood casements with pointed heads. There is a polygonal bay attached on the ground floor and a four-light window to the right. Additional ranges are attached to the rear.
