15/14 Unidentified chest tomb, in churchyard about 12 metres south of porch, Church of St John the Baptist -

GV II

Chest tomb. Early C18. Ham stone and possibly Doulting. Ledger topped, moulded cornice, plinth sunk, bombè ends, east crossed palms, west skull and cross bones, north and south fronts raised and fielded panels with central carved drop, inscriptions on both tombs illegible.
