Description
Arden Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a dwelling. It features roughcast over rubble and a thatched roof, with brick stacks located at the left gable end and to the right of the entrance. The building likely has a plan that is a derivative of an open hall house. It stands two storeys tall and has a layout of 1:3 bays. The first floor has three-light casement windows, while the ground floor includes two three-light windows to the right of the entrance, a small glazed opening to the left, a two-light casement, and a 20th-century window at the left end bay. The entrance is marked by a part-glazed six-panel door. The interior has not been viewed.
