Farmhouse. C16, thought to have been reroofed and rear wing added C17, Southern half reroofed C19. Roughcast over rubble, brick lean-to addition North gable end, wall breaks forward right of entrance, raking buttresses in end 2 bays right, double Roman tiled roof, coped verges right, pantile roof North gable addition, brick stacks left gable end and right to cross passage. Plan: lying South-North, 3 cell and cross passage, North East wing projecting North behind gable, angle filled with lean-to addition. One and a half storeys, tow 3-light gabled dormers rising from eaves, ground floor 3 and 2-light to right of entrance, 4-light left, another plank door entrance in addition left where ground slopes away slightly. Interior not seen. Evidence that wooden lintol of cross passage fireplace had painted decoration, thought to be C17. Roof over hall and inner room rebuilt C19 with purlins carried on iron brackets, roof to wing and outer room C17, partitions between passage and outer room, and hall and inner room, timber framed with brick infill.
