Description
Manor Farm House is a 17th-century farmhouse that has undergone some modifications. It is constructed from local stone that has been cut, squared, and coursed, and features concrete tiles in a Ludlow pattern, which have replaced the original thatch. The house has two storeys and four bays. There is a shallow plinth and a string course above the lower windows. The entrance doorway, located between the third and fourth bays, has a moulded cambered arch with a flat stone hood supported by plain brackets. The windows are hollow chamfered mullioned types with rectangular leaded panes, some of which include old iron casements with stays and catches. The exception is the upper bay one, which has a twelve-pane sash window with thick glazing bars, set in an architrave surround with a moulded cill and keystone. There is also a large oval window that has been blocked in the east gable. Attached to the west side are former outbuildings that have been converted into houses, but these are not included in the listing.
