Description

No. 57 High Street is a house built around 1840. It is constructed from local stone ashlar and features a Welsh slate roof with plain gables and a brick chimney stack. The building has three storeys and two bays. To the left of the first bay, there is a six-fielded panel door with a plain fanlight set in an elliptical arched recess. Spanning most of the first and second bays is a 20th-century 18-pane casement window under a concrete lintel. Above this, there are 12-pane sash windows in plain openings on both levels. The interior has not been seen.
