Description
The Manor Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located on the west side of High Street in Henstridge. It is constructed from locally sourced squared rubble stone, with ashlar dressings and a plain clay tile roof that features coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The building has a 'T'-shaped plan and stands two storeys high with three bays on the south elevation.
The windows are notable for their wave and hollow chamfer moulding, featuring mullions with labels and plain inserts, comprising three, two, and four lights above, and four and five lights below. These flank an early 20th-century door located in the lower bay two, which is part-glazed and set beneath a flat timber hood supported by battered pilasters.
To the north, there is a matching return of two bays with similar windows and a 20th-century part-glazed door positioned in the corner, which is sheltered by an angled clay tiled hood. The interior has not been seen.
