Description

14 and 16 Bridge Street is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick. The building features a parapet with stone capping and has three windows with stepped voussoirs, although the centre window on the second floor is blocked. The windows are sashes with curved heads, and there are frilled hoods for the blinds on the first-floor windows. The ground floor is rusticated and includes a wooden doorcase to the right, which has a triangular pediment, a traceried fanlight, and a six-panel door. To the left, there is a modern shop front.
