Description
Sydney House is a late 18th-century building constructed from coursed rubble. It stands 2½ storeys tall and features three windows. The outer windows are angled two-storey bays, with sash windows that have glazing bars and flush boxes. The central window has an arched head and Gothic-style glazing. The entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed, and is topped with a wooden pediment. The building has a modern tile mansard roof, which includes two early 20th-century hipped tile-clad dormers. Stone chimneys are located on the outer sides, and there is a two-storey wing at the rear that also has a mansard roof.
