Description
The railings, gates, and entrance piers to the former Rook Lane Congregational Chapel were likely built around 1862. There are four gate piers made of rusticated ashlar, featuring reeded capping. The outer piers are topped with carved urns, while the inner piers have cast-iron urns, with the left-hand urn currently on the ground. The rails include curved braces leading to the gates. These rails extend back to the chapel on the north side and connect with more decorative railings and a gate that leads to the garden on the north-east side of the chapel.
