3/86 Road bridge to private drive, about 150 metres East of Bowden Gate

GV II

Road bridge. Late C19. Red brick, with Portland stone decoration. Plain basewalls, very small vaulted tunnel for stream; each wall has three piers, to ends and centre, the former with stone caps and ball finials, the latter with stone caps and urn finials; parapet walls in moulded open brickwork with stone copings. Attractive landscape feature on a large estate with many good collected items; the rain house, of 1881, is of lesser interest and not listed.
