Description
Millcourt is a late 18th-century mill that has been converted into a house. It features a rendered exterior and a hipped pantile roof with a parapet and coping, along with two rendered stacks. The main facade, which faces at right angles to the road, is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. The ground floor has 12-pane casements set in plain stone surrounds that have emphasized keystones and cornice dripmoulds. The first floor features three circular windows, also in plain stone surrounds, with casements that have leaded lights. There is a central door opening framed by a plain stone surround, leading to a six-panelled door with the top two panels glazed. To the right of the main building, there is a single-storey rubble outshut with a pantile roof. The left side of the building facing the road has undergone significant alterations in the 20th century.
