Description
This is a house at the end of a row, originally comprising two dwellings. It was built in the earlier 19th century. The exterior is faced with Ham stone ashlar, with a Welsh slate roof and stone slate base courses between stepped coped gables. Brick chimney stacks are at the ends. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It has horizontal bar casement windows in plain openings with voussoired heads, each window being two lights in width. Originally, there were doorways between the first and second bays, and the second and third bays. The left-hand doorway has been partly blocked and converted into a window, whilst the former window in the centre has been converted into a doorway. The right-hand doorway remains, and both have 20th-century part-glazed doors. The interior has not been inspected. The building is listed primarily for its group value within this important open area in the centre of the village.
