Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 10 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. It dates from the late 16th century and is made of dressed stone. The tomb has an oblong shape with a sunken plinth and pilasters on each side. It features a massive hipped slab top that is dentil-moulded along its lower edge. This tomb is noted for being unusually early for its type.
