Description
Garden House, located about 50 meters west of Poundisford Park, is a 17th-century garden house constructed of red brick in English bond. It features a pyramid bell-cast slate roof with overhanging eaves and a deep carved modillion cornice. The building is a single cell and a single storey high, showcasing a broken pediment with a central console bracket and a dentil cornice. The façade includes shaped console end brackets and central double doors, with half-glazed moulded surrounds for the fixed light side windows. There are also a pair of oval bulls-eye openings on the returns, one of which is blocked. At the top, there is a wooden carved finial with a wrought iron weathervane. Inside, the house has a contemporary moulded pilaster frieze.
