Description
This is a Type K6 telephone kiosk located outside the museum on the east side of The Pitching, Castle Cary. Designed in 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott and manufactured by the Carron Company, it is constructed of cast iron. The kiosk is square in plan and features a domed roof. The top panels display unperforated George VI crowns, and the windows and door have margin glazing.
