Description

The Drewett Chest Tomb, located in the churchyard 6 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Laurence, dates from 1823. It is made of slate and features a simple design. The tomb is a plain rectangular shape set on a plinth, with two fielded panels on the north and south sides. The top is flat with a chamfered edge. The earliest inscription on the tomb is dedicated to Mary Drewett, dated 1823.
